Brian Basche has been in the wine business for over 20years, working in many aspects. From Country Club management, High end restaurants, wine distribution and now on the supply side working directly for Banfi Wine & Spirits Merchants. During this time, he has had the pleasure of travelling to many of the world’s great wine regions and getting in depth with wine makers, viticulturalists, sustainability experts, etc. Travel combined with a lot of study and tasting has resulted in many wine certifications including the Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers.
In his current capacity, Brian has been able to move from a wine generalist to more of an expert with the wineries and regions he represents, including Alexander Valley Vineyards and the Valley in which they reside.
