Casey Stringer began his journey in winemaking after studying photography in Santa Barbara, where he quickly transitioned to working as a cellar hand at a local winery. He gained diverse experience in winemaking by working at renowned wineries such as Robert Sinskey Vineyards in Napa, Archery Summit in Oregon, and several in New Zealand, where he also received formal winemaking education. Upon returning to California, he continued honing his skills at the esteemed Santa Ynez cult winery, Jonata. In Wisconsin, where he met his wife Brooke, Casey started Stringer Cellars in a garage, producing acclaimed wines; the couple eventually decided to go all in on the business and moved back to Sonoma County with their two young boys.
