Experience the best wines from around the world in a celebration of flavor and culture during a walk-around, outdoor wine tasting festival with live music.  In addition to the wine tastings, we also have a selection of artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and other gourmet snacks to complement your wine journey. And if you find a wine you love, be sure to keep tabs on your wine list.

As you make your way through the festival, you will have the opportunity to sample over 300 different wines, each carefully selected for their unique and delicious flavors. From bold and fruity reds to crisp and refreshing whites, there is something for every palate.

Blue River Grass Band and Hardscrabble will be playing during the Grand Tastings on Friday & Saturday.  In addition to the wine tastings, we also have a selection of artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and other gourmet snacks to complement your wine journey. The Grand Tasting features wine from regions around the world. Here is a sneak peek at what you can expect:

Napa Valley: Taste the bold and complex flavors of California’s most famous wine region, known for its rich Cabernets, Zinfandels, and Chardonnays.

Bordeaux: Explore the elegance and sophistication of French wine, with a selection of reds and whites from one of the world’s most renowned wine regions.

Tuscany: Experience the rustic charm of Italian wine, with a range of Chiantis, Super Tuscans, and other classic varietals from the Tuscan countryside.

Australia: Discover the bold and fruity flavors of Australian wine, with a selection of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other varietals from Down Under.

New Zealand: Sample the crisp and refreshing wines of New Zealand, with a selection of Sauvignon Blancs and Pinot Noirs from the country’s picturesque vineyards.

GETTING HERE

Bus route – best option

Walking from the Vail Village free parking garage (12 minutes)

  • Head east on E. Meadow Dr. toward Vail Valley Dr.
  • Turn right (south) onto Vail Valley Dr.
  • Stay on Vail Valley Dr. for .7 miles until you arrive at the Vail Athletic Fields

Walking from the Ford Field Parking Lot and Bus Stop (6 minutes)

  • Take path behind the Vail Tennis Center leading to the Ford Amphitheatre
  • At Ford Amphitheatre, turn left (south) across the bridge.
  • Turn left (east) onto Vail Valley Dr. The Vail Athletic Fields are on your right.
