Heather’s life motto has always been “Why not?” and her subsequent professional background is accordingly broad and varied, including time spent having worked as a paralegal, co-founding and running a medical records company, working at multiple wine bars and restaurants, selling wine for a distributor, working as an operational consultant for a metal recycling company, spent time as a nanny, did marketing for a winery in Burgundy, France, made wine in both Burgundy and Alsace, France as well as Calistoga, California, and started her own wine education and tour company in 2018. Through all of those experiences, she learned to approach the often intimidating world of wine in the same way she saw most things in life – as a by-product of a process worthy of learning about and breaking down in order to share the beautiful simplicity with others. The gross oversimplification, “it’s just wine” pervades her approach in the tasting room and at events. Ask questions, be fearless, try it in case you actually love it – it’s just wine. Heather brings this perspective and passion to her work with Stressed Vines Cellars. Having the dubious pleasure of having gotten Rob into this industry, she now works as his Director of Operations and has a hand in most of the daily responsibilities of the company. You can currently find her commuting between Colorado, Texas and California pouring wine and seizing every opportunity for connection and community over a shared bottle of wine.
