Stressed Vines Cellars is a heartfelt homage to founder Rob Barney’s passion for wines that tell a story of resilience and character, emerging from vines that have weathered more challenges than your average vineyard. Devoted to old vines, dry-farmed vines, and high elevation vineyards, each contribute unique qualities to the meticulously crafted collection of wines including Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Partnerships are cultivated with local winegrowers throughout Napa and Sonoma Counties, sourcing fruit from distinctively stressed vineyards that Rob loves. As a boutique producer crafting only a limited number of cases per year, their focus is on quality.
